NOTICE TO BIDDERS EAST MAIN STREET SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT CITY OF SHELBY, RICHLAND COUNTY, OHIO Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Public Service of the City of Shelby, Ohio at the office of the Director of Finance and Public Records, Shelby City Hall, 43 West Main Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875, until Friday, August 21, 2020 10:00:00 AM, local time, for the Public Works Project consisting of the construction of: EAST MAIN STREET SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT, SHELBY, OH Plans and Specifications may be obtained at RB Print Shop, Inc, 1069 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, OH 44906, Phone (419) 524-2781 upon payment of $30.00 for each set taken out. Plans and Specifications become the property of the bidder and no portion will be refunded. Bidder is responsible for all shipping costs of plans. Checks shall be made payable to the "RB Print Shop, Inc.". Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company of Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Richland County and the City of Shelby, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Bids must be plainly marked "East Main Street Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project". Partial progress payments will be made. The City cannot award a bid to a contractor if the bid is above the Engineer's Estimate. The City of Shelby will entertain no bids of any person or firm in default to the City of Shelby, Ohio, and reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Steven L.
