Huron County Public Health, along with Huron County public officials partners are reporting the first Huron County “presumptive positive” test result for novel coronavirus disease 2019.
According to health officials, this is a male in his late 70s. He is currently hospitalized. This case had not traveled outside of Ohio and had no known exposure to the virus.
“We will not be releasing any additional personal information relating to this case,” said Huron County Public Health Commissioner Tim Hollinger. “As we continue to monitor cases of COVID-19 in the community, information will be shared as necessary to protect the public while also considering the rights of any ill individual to privacy.”
