A 70 year old resident of Huron County has become the first COVID-19 related death, according to Huron County Public Health. Bill Knapp, who also suffered from underlying health conditions, died on Sunday, March 29 due to complications of novel coronavirus.

New London Recreation Park Labor Day camping will remain the same with few exceptions, according to a recommendation by the recreation committee.

New London sees savings of about $3,000 in snow removal this year. Lower than average snow fall, and higher than average temperatures have helped in these savings.
