Plymouth, South Central, advance in District tourney

Plymouth and South Central each staged late offensive bursts to post District semifinal victories Tuesday night at Galion's Heise Park. The Lady Big Red defeated Monroeville, 8-6, in eight innings, behind three runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth, while the Lady Trojans scored five times in the sixth inning to defeat New London, 7-2, in the nightcap.
