Promoting health in Shelby

Promoting health was the focus of an informational booth staffed by the Shelby City Health Department during the recent Shelby Bicycle Days festival.

Tiffiny Ellenberger, Shelby’s director of nursing, (left) and Beth Conrad (right), the city of Shelby’s director of environmental health, staffed the booth at Black Fork Commons.

They provided information on a variety of topics ranging from monitoring blood pressure to fighting insects. Hand sanitizer also was provided by the department, which is in the forefront of leading Shelby’s coronavirus response and other efforts.
