Market manager Aileen Stewart sent in photos from the June 20 event and noted the many wonderful vendors and information about them.
"Kim Metzger, her friend Suzy Beckner, and Suzy’s daughter offer a variety of crocheted items," Stewart wrote. "The proceeds go toward finding a cure for Alzheimer’s which four of their relatives have passed from. This is Kim and Suzy’s second year with the market, and we are pleased that they have joined us."
The photo of the three vendors working on the Alzheimer's cause shows Suzy’s daughter on the left, Suzy in the middle, and Kim on the right, Stewart reported.
The Shelby Farmers' Market runs from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays to the first Saturday in September at the pavilion area in Black Fork Commons.
