ASHLAND — Olivia Baker hit her first four shots — all from three-point range — to start the game and Sophia Niese sparked a second-half run to lead Shelby to a 66-51 girls basketball win against Mansfield Senior in a Division II District semifinal game at Ashland High School.

Baker pocketed 22 points as the Lady Whippets improved to 17-4.

Niese stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals.

SHS meets Bellevue Saturday for the district championship at Ashland.
