Shelby won its third straight Division II Sectional championship with a 69-49 girls basketball verdict over Port Clinton Saturday.

The Baker twins — Haylee and Olivia — each scored 21 for the Lady Whippets, who are 16-4 on the season.

Thanks to a 15-0 run, SHS led 22-9 after one quarter and never looked back.

Shelby meets Mansfield Seniors 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the district semifinals at Ashland High School.
