Shelby baseball

Shelby and Lexington played nine inning of varsity baseball, but nothing was decided as the non-conference game was called due to darkness.

The score was 3-3 when the game was halted.

The Whippets scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to extend the contest.

Marshall had two hits and drove in two runs for SHS.

Although the Whippets are off this week in the Mid Ohio Athletic Conference, there was good news. The red and gray climbed into a first-place tie with Ontario after the Warriors dropped a 10-5 game Tuesday to Galion.
